Shakuhachi. Origin Country: India. 1.1 lbs. Made by Mid-East.

Straight 21" Bamboo pipe in "DD". 4 front holes and 1 back hole. The sound is made by blowing in the end of the flute. Hold the flute under your bottom lip and blow over the crescent cut at the top edge. These flutes are within 5-8 cents of pitch; rarely are they off by 10 cents. A cent is a unit of measuring intervals in music. Each half step (semitone) is made up of 100 cents.

It's okay, but a better one will cost$60-$150. I wondered why it was bound in 3 places. Then I unpacked it and set it out a couple hours later I heard Ping! and Crack! It was built with Green Bamboo and the binding was to keep it from falling apart when it dried. LOL! Now it barely plays. Live and Learn;/

This product is excellent as a beginner's flute. I have never been instrumentally inclined, but I was able to play this after about 5 minutes of attempting to use it. Personally, I am using it more as a meditative device than to perform with. I have never seen a high quality Shakuhachi flute in person, but this one is definitely a cheaper rendition. For such a low price though this should not be a surprise.

It is definitely still worth the purchase if you are wanting to test the waters with this type of wood instrument or to use and a meditation tool.

I just recieved my DD shakuhachi today. It took me a couple minutes to figure out the right angle to get the notes, but it was fairly simple. It would have been nice if it had come with some tips on how to play it though.
It is definately a beginners shakuhachi and if want a serious shakuhachi, this isn't it.
It also is not very decorative and I'd have preferred not to have the big "DD" printed on the intrument itself. it is large and a bit hard to play with my smaller hands.
All in all though, it is a good instrument and is just as I expected it to be.

Most of the original TV series Batmobiles that I have encountered from different sources were a little pricey. This model is reasonably priced. The detail is amazing. The coloring and design are excellent. It looks just like the Batmobile from the original TV series. I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I highly recommend this product.

This was not something I was looking to find. I happened to see it and had flash backs from the old series which I faithfully watched as a kid.

The detail is good. It's also nice to fell metal again when considering all the effort to move to plastic. Granted there is plastic all over but the car body is metal.

It would have been nice for sound efforts or lights but it's not a disappointment.

Moving parts are the wheels, the doors and the steering wheel.

It comes attached to the stand and I decided to keep the car attached for the time being.

A little pricey but it was a gift. :)

As a collector of comic book memorabilia for many years, it's refreshing to get something worthwhile that doesn't cost $200 or more. Sure, there are Batmobile Replicas with more details, hoods that open, detailed dash boards that light up as well as headlights, and the list goes on and on. But when an item is on a shelf for display, none of that is ever really appreciated. This Batmobile sits on the shelf right in front of my large flatscreen television (the profile is low enough that it does not interfere with the view). Its the focal point, the center of that shelf, and invariably when new guests arrive, it usually earns the comment "cool," while much more expensive pieces all around it are passed over. This buy was worth every dollar.

Missoni by Missoni For Women. Body Lotion 6.8-Ounces Review by Sue Katz "Honey Bee" (Tallahassee, FLA)

This opens with chocolate on me. I've got a fresh bottle - wonder if that has to something to do with the inconsistent reports of Missoni's opening. (?) Anyway, as it dries, I pick out the plastic magnolia that is characteristic of many Roucel fragrances, at least on me. The base is chocolate, woods, & nuts, and it's really good. Thankfully, I don't find Missoni as sweet and sickly as some other Roucel fragrances, such as Tocade.

Turin tags Missoni as a kaleidoscope floral. Well, with the citrus & chocolate & florals & woods, it is. In fact, I find Missoni most similar to SJP Covet in that regard. I do like Missoni better than Covet. But given the price differential, I'm not sure that a purchase of Missoni is justified. I was *lucky* to find a 30ml bottle of Missoni for about the same price as a 100ml bottle of Covet.

Unless you're a Roucel fiend, keep your money. Turin says 5*? No way. More like a solid 3*, maybe 4* on a good day after a martini. Missoni was developed in conjunction with Estee Lauder - given Turin's love affair with all things Lauder, that might be a reason for the excessively high rating on this one.

The bottle is frugly, as is the tacky fabric near the spray nozzle (really?). Good example of the picture of the bottle being more attractive than the bottle really is.

This retractable audio extension cable worked great for a month, but then broke. I've read about this happening to other types of retractable cords, so it's probably not just this particular one. They can be very fragile. Recommended only if it costs pennies.

I use this retractable cable as an extension for my favorite pair of headphones that have a short cable. This is a good quality extension, but be careful not to stress the ends too much or you may wind up with an intermittent connection (as with any cable). This one is actually a replacement for a previous one that went intermittent after I inadvertently let the headphones fall and yank on the cable.
