I've had mine for now for about 3 years and I've never had any issues with it. I make sure I take extra care of my SpotBot. It never has leaked on me. The suction is amazing. I perform regular maintenance on it after each usage.

This SpotBot does an awesome job of cleaning up dog diarrhea. About a year and half ago my lab had eaten something that had upset her stomach and caused her to have diarrhea on our brand new carpet in the hallway. I decided to give the SpotBot a try to see if it would clean the mess up but I honestly thought my lab had ruined my carpet. By the second round over the soiled areas on the carpet was clean and showed no hint of mishaps. As I'm typing right now I'm cleaning up another messy soiled spot because our elderly dog had a seizure and lost control of her bowl movements. My SpotBot is doing a great job getting it all out during the first round, however I will do it twice to make sure everything gets cleaned up.

I love this product! I have 3 cats, 2 dogs, a child and husband and the Spot Bot has more than paid for itself! I use the Bissell Pet 2X Concentrated Cleaning Solution and have never had a stain stay put. It has even gotten rid of older stains, which I didn't think it would. I can just sit it down and walk away, it's great! Beats having to drag out the full size carpet cleaner.

As for people complaining that it leaves a circle I look at it this way, I would rather have a nice clean circle than a nasty stain on my carpet! For people with animals, kids and carpet this is a must!

Had this for years now and it's amazing. It gets out set in and surface stains like it promises. Many just made stains you can just use water. It's saved me so much time and frustration from my cat puking randomly (she loves to get into things) and security deposits for carpet stains in apartments :)
